How far in advance should I order Scotcheroo bars for an event?
For the best freshness, we recommend placing your catering order 5–7 days before your event.
Our Scotcheroo bars are made in small batches each week and shipped fresh, typically on Mondays and Tuesdays, to avoid unnecessary weekend transit time. Ordering about a week in advance ensures your dessert arrives fresh, chewy, and ready to serve.
If your event is coming up soon, feel free to contact us — we may still be able to accommodate your order depending on our production schedule.
Are your Scotcheroo bars gluten-free?
We make our Scotcheroo bars with ingredients that are commonly chosen for gluten-free baking. However, because ingredient sourcing and manufacturing environments can vary, we do not market them as certified gluten-free.
That said, we do have repeat customers who require gluten-free and have had zero issues with the bars.
Do you make a Vegan Scotcheroo bar?
Yes, we offer a vegan Scotcheroo option! They’re made with plant-based ingredients, including dairy-free chocolate and butterscotch.
Some ingredients we use, such as cereals, may contain added vitamins that are not certified vegan. Because of this, we do not claim formal vegan certification.
That said, our recipe is crafted to be dairy-free and made with plant-based ingredients, and many customers looking for vegan-friendly desserts enjoy them with confidence.
